Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located with a pub underneath for easy access to food and drinks, although slightly affected by smoke from nearby bushfires. The rooms lacked natural air flow, resulting in a musty smell that impacted sleep quality. Despite this, it serves well as a base for exploring the surrounding area and offers the convenience of preparing meals with access to a bottle shop downstairs.
The hotel is situated right on the Clarence River, offering a charming view of the water. The rooms were clean and comfy, but I had trouble sleeping with only a pedestal fan and the outside noise from the street. The service was excellent, and despite the smoke from the bushfires, the location was still convenient being right on the river and main street. The dining options were enjoyable but limited, and the facilities were decent for the price.
The hotel is ideally located overlooking the Clarence River, with easy access to the pub below for food and drinks; however, some noise and mess from the bar can be disruptive. The rooms provide a quiet stay with basic amenities, but no fridge or tea/coffee supplies. The price is reasonable for a quick stopover, despite some disturbances.
